![]() After different phases of development cycles, Minecraft entered alpha testing on June 30, 2010, then beta testing on December 20, 2010, and was officially released on November 18, 2011. To facilitate this, he founded a video game company, Mojang Specifications (eventually renamed to "Mojang AB" and later "Mojang Studios").
